Just finished reading the #OshinoKo manga and I really don't get the hate for the ending. It could have benefited from a few additional chapters, but it felt better paced and fleshed out than some of the other series that ended last year like JJK, but overall I really enjoyed the series.

The story about Jocelynn Rojo Carranza is heartbreaking, but I sadly can't say I'm surprised to hear this happened.

During both of Trump's terms in office, I've heard students say some pretty nasty things to one another re: race, immigration, etc.

Some good news to break up the bleakness. Last June I started seriously studying Japanese again to get ready for a trip back to visit my wife's family. When I returned I decided to finally make good on a 10 year goal to take the next JLPT level. I decided to skip from the N5 to the N3.
