My 2026 #boardgames goal is again to sell more games than I buy, and to continue to use trades to bring new games into my collection. I've got 195 games. There are 22 I could see leaving. Most are good games, but they reduce the number of GREAT games I have time to play.

Unlike 2024, my 2025's 'most plays' were not dominated by family-weight games. Still top 2 but I now own a broad enough number at low complexity that I get to mix it up more. Galactic Cruise and Inferno were really enjoyable new additions. I sold 20 games and bought 14, as I'd hoped. #boardgames

December's games were about friends and family (7 of 20). My weekly gaming crew decided to play Praga Caput Regni x3 (actually 4 given end of Nov play). After that clicked w/ us, decided to revisit Suchy's best game, Underwater Cities. Hadn't played that banger in over 2 years! #boardgames

Hey @bgstatsapp.bsky.social. Question for you. I am able to select all of the games that need an syn update with boardgamegeek. However, I can't figure out how to then invoke the update altogether. Can it be done? I've been triggering them one-by-one. 🩵 your app though.

Over this holiday break (which really isn't much of a break, since I'm still working the non-company-holiday days), I discovered Starcraft II, the video game. Uh oh. New time suck.

In the Portuguese 1st Division, Arouca played away at Santa Clara from the Azores Islands and a single fan made the away trip. After the game finishes with a 0-0 draw, the entire Arouca team and staff went to greet their sole fan

Had a party w/ 5 couples and we played #boardgames. 1st was "ask your spouse questions" game I made up. The couple of 31 yrs lost. Then we played Caution Signs w/ home grown team format that everyone ❤️. Closed w/ Codenames. I 😍 that game but it always runs LONG. Reluctant to put a timer on it.
