I have a U.S. phone and a Brazil one. TikTok is on both. Only the U.S. version has a new TOS pop up to keep using it.
I feel like they set up a giant mouse trap for general citizens and the new owners of the U.S. version of TikTok are going to exploit it in every way they can to suppress dissent.

I have a U.S. phone and a Brazil one. TikTok is on both. Only the U.S. version has a new TOS pop up to keep using it.
I feel like they set up a giant mouse trap for general citizens and the new owners of the U.S. version of TikTok are going to exploit it in every way they can to suppress dissent.

I was REPEATEDLY told that payment processors "had" to ban all nsfw to mitigate the risk of processing CSAM.
So if that's true then why wasn't X immediately dumped by every one of those payment processors when Grok turned into an automated CSAM generator?
