💥 Islamic State claimed to have killed six Mozambican militia members around the village of Nanoa in Ancuabe district, Cabo Delgado.

Local sources told Zitamar that the clash took place yesterday and involved the Naparama militia.

If the election for the national parliament goes the same way as the presidential election appears to be, then Renamo will lose its position as the second largest party in parliament, with Podemos overtaking both it and the MDM.

Our correspondent in Nampula has the first result for us from a voting table at the Pavilhão Desportiva sports complex.

At voting table 090174-04, the result in the presidential ballot was:
