Turns out that as of today, there are at least *13,* not nine, people the feds have criminally charged for allegedly assaulting/ interfering with federal agents during Midway Blitz and associated protests, only to later dismiss their cases.

To give you an idea of how ridiculous the gerrymandering in Nashville is, here’s our district. They diluted a third of Nashville into a rural area about 50 times as large that extends north to the Kentucky border and about a third of the length of the state to the east.

I wish there was a precedent for what happens when a demagogue picks out a vulnerable minority group and labels them as subhuman. I wonder what the next step is and whether any innocent people get hurt. And I wonder whether the demagogue's followers go on trial when the whole thing is over.
