I never get sick of watching high school theatre productions. They give their all, pour their hearts and souls into it, and it's so beautiful. We need lots of beauty like that in the world right now.

As someone who wants to get her work done in a given week, I think the precedent of free-for-all Teams messages is catastrophically bad for productivity.
(And yes, I set myself to "Do Not Disturb" on occasion and put "Focus Time/Busy" on my calendar, and all the things.) It makes no difference.
