I don’t really want to leave my job but I keep getting assigned less interesting boards to make (like a front panel board). The first real board I made here was the most advanced one I did, (18L, blind/buried vias) since then, like 4 years ago, it’s been not career-advancing stuff

Using an ancient petalinux version on the microzed, issues with tcf agent in vitis. Struggle through a new petalinux build annnndddd…. Vitis uploads the executable to the microzed but still throws an error 😡

No magic smoke! Carrier board went together smoothly. Now need to figure out why the bank power isn’t turning on intermittently (which is enabled by SOM board)… and give it another clean lol

One thing I like to do for high speed signals is tighten the inner reference plane clearance. This minimizes the via impedance discontinuity. The green is the reference layer (L2).
