Switching to an electric powertrain quickly exposes weak electronics designs.

The Seagulls Lübeck redesigned large parts of their low-voltage system when moving from combustion to electric, including a custom PDU with monitoring, protection and hardware fallbacks.

You told us you’d love to order components only. Good news: that’s already been possible with Simple Supply. Less good news: it was a bit hidden. So we fixed that. 😇

Right next to where you upload your PCB design, you’ll also see an option to work on your BOM only.

Together with Würth we joined the TechTurbo 2025 to talk about PCB design with student initiatives from Aachen. First up: EMC-friendly layout using Würth’s demo boards. Afterwards focusing on clean PCB design and manufacturability with AISLER.
