Well at least he finally reached the conclusion that 99.9% of adults in the U.K. had already come to. I’m all for supporting Trans women but the facts are the facts - they are NOT ‘real’ women.

Much as I’m hoping it’s ‘see you later’ as opposed to ‘goodbye’, I’ve switched to buying Canadian and Japanese whiskies alongside Scotch - Trump has so impacted my pension I’m having to boycott American spirits…….😩

I love politics - always have done however I struggle to see the value of Trumps press secretary @karolineleavitt.bsky.social . She’s clearly an educated person but is she simply told ‘tow the party line’? If so surely just issue a statement as opposed to put yourself through all that live hassle?!

I have many American friends who are truly terrified about what is going on - ordinary good hearted people. The old Republican Senators and Congress are to blame for this - seeing them all fawn over Trump to stay in office makes my stomach churn…..

What a tragic situation. France and the USA go back a long way And to have that relationship fractured by the demented ratings of one man is oh so sad. I don’t blame Trump - we know what he is - it is the spineless, aging, Republican senators and Congress that allow him to get away with this. Shame.

Just watching one sycophantic Republican Senator after another follow Trumps lead and try and defend the indefensible over the cessation of weapons to Ukraine. Just sickening and something I thought I’d never see - the USA throwing the towel in with Russia. Putin wins - and all democracies lose…….
