This is the Moonseed Moth, a very common visitor to my porch light.
A few months ago I realized that the intricate patterns on some moth wings would make really good floor rugs. I took a rectangular sample from a common, albeit beautiful moth, and created 4 different options. I give you the Moonseed Rug! Which is your favorite?

I haven’t felt like posting anything lately. I’m angry with what is happening in our country and feeling powerless to do anything about it. Anyway, this is an escape from the news and a reminder of the beautiful natural world around us.
