One of the slightly depressing aspects of getting old is seeing comedians who once railed against conformity and mediocrity reduced to presenting game shows or programmes about pets.

In movies there’s usually only one bad guy and a gang of good guys rise up to defeat him. In real life there are millions of bad guys.

Fans should be allowed to vent their frustrations here in the moment, especially if not able to share disappointment with mates at the ground or in the pub. Better to let it out on BlueSky than pent it up inside. That’s bad for your health 😂. Onwards to Wednesday. #nufc

No injuries, thankfully. Sadly, we continue to build attacks at a frustratingly slow pace and then fail to get shots on target. Too many passes, too reliant on the same moves that ultimately fizzle out. We are constantly susceptible to fast breaks yet seem incapable of doing that ourselves. #nufc

What deflates me are regulations that allow the top teams to buy anyone they want whenever they want but we can’t. So when we (occasionally) beat an Arsenal or Man City it’s not just a win against a team it’s a victory against the fucking cartel. #NUFC

I was a fan, I’m not any more. If the technology is unreliable (and ruins the excitement of the game), then bin it.
I’d definitely dump it for offside and go back to assistants with their flags, for better or worse.
