the lack of a good (and actually Used) colloquialism for artwork thats both bad and good at the same time in arguably equivalent measure (and DOESN’T imply some sort of ontological link between its goodness and badnesss in the way that “so bad its good” does) sucks shit

the new soundtrack to OFF is. mixed. i’m somewhat heartened that all the tracks *I* felt were irreplaceable got replaced by things that were merely Good Substitutes at best while Pepper Steak had THREE outright superior reinterpretations added in its stead though! XP
