Gee, I can’t imagine why. In Seattle, our corporate funded bootlickers responded to the fact that most “affordable” housing is equal to market rate by saying “eventually the affordable housing will seem cheaper, once market rate gets more expensive”. And that’s how they solved that.

Every time someone’s rights are violated in Washington State by masked ICE thugs, you can blame @governorferguson.bsky.social and every other elected official who refuse to do more that complain about the the bad things happening and continue on with the status quo. I know I do.
Someone asked me a good question on here. How do we stop ICE from violating our constitutional rights. We don't. Our local elected officials do that job. Our Governor, or Sheriffs our mayors, Police. They stop ICE. With force if necessary. That's how you stop ICE from pulling us out of our homes.

I've always bristled at the animosity between artists and 'the suits', as I know so many smart suits. But the AI hype is driving home a legitimate issue; that many bean-counters have no taste or creative awareness whatsoever, resent artists, and need to be vigorously fought against to protect art.
