You would be the android person in the group chat.

My candidate didn’t win the primary, which means I have a new candidate for the general. Let’s all get behind @aftynbehn.bsky.social and donate our time & treasure to flip this seat!

Jimmy Kimmel’s suspension got us wondering — who controls our local TV stations? Big thanks to @mattgertz.bsky.social from @mmfa.bsky.social for joining us to explain the ecosystem of massive media conglomerates, the FCC’s influence, and what the First Amendment has to say about all of it:
Who Took Jimmy Kimmel Off the Air in Nashville? - City Cast Nashville
Last month, “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” disappeared from our Nashville airwaves. Now he’s back. So, who really controls our local TV stations, and what do...

So a Democratic TN legislator just came on stage at this Indigo Girls & Melissa Etheridge concert and somehow failed to remind this large audience there is a special election for Congress happening RIGHT NOW. Can’t say I’m surprised.

The backdrop for the Indigo Girls tonight at the Ryman is incredible.

Started the day bright & early at Gateway Elementary for Walk to School Day and ended the day with Goodlettsville & Madison Middle Schools for the Orange & Blue Bowl hosted by Hunters Lane HS on their new turf field.

Tell me why a councilmember would show up to “Walk to School Day” at an elementary school wearing a t shirt with big bold writing saying “I VOTED NO ON THE TAX INCREASE.” The same tax increase that helped make a historic investment into schools like the one the CM was standing in front of.

The Rapture took the Goodlettsville Krystal’s this evening.

Six hours. One driveway. One patio. And the most unexpectedly calming therapy session I’ve had in a while: pressure washing.

I have longer posts on Facebook & Instagram about this, but all-accessible, inclusive play is incredible. Happy to be part do the story of making this playground happen called Rachel’s Garden in Goodlettsville. Go check it out.

Glad I listened to today’s episode of @citycastnash.bsky.social to remind me about Fridays by the River at Shelby Park. Great way to start the afternoon before homecoming and turf field dedication at Hunters Lane HS!

Imagine pulling something off first reading in order to make a comment to the department that could’ve been an email. Oh wait, we don’t have to imagine.

How you feeling now, my friend? 😁❤️
Not feeling great about tonight but no matter what, we will continue to push for a better Nashville

Point of order: It’s to easy for some of these Councilmembers to get elected. SHRINK THE COUNCIL.

This was a great episode and I’m so excited to have this co-op happening just a mile from my home!
Could co-ops be the solution to Nashville’s affordable housing crisis? We’re exploring the idea with the folks behind the Drakes Creek Cooperative, a 60-unit community that’s trying to model the concept, on today’s episode:
A New Solution for Nashville's Affordable Housing Woes? - City Cast Nashville
The Cottages at Drakes Creek are being transformed into a limited equity housing co-op, aiming to give residents an ownership stake in their commun...
