We are all very excited about this idea of matrix-weighted networks (MWNs) — always happy to discuss more!

Just published -- my first PRL paper in 22 years!
An amazing collaborative project with Yu Tian, Sadamori Kojaku and Renaud Lambiotte
"Matrix-Weighted Networks for Modeling Multidimensional Dynamics"
doi.org/10.1103/jw1k...
Matrix-Weighted Networks for Modeling Multidimensional Dynamics: Theoretical Foundations and Applications to Network Coherence
Networks are powerful tools for modeling interactions in complex systems. While traditional networks use scalar edge weights, many real-world systems involve multidimensional interactions. For example...

My collaborator Yu Tian's talk on MWNs (matrix-weighted networks) today at #NetSci2025

Always happy to chat!
I believe my excellent collaborators @skojaku.bsky.social, @hirokisayama.bsky.social, and Renaud are all happy to discuss more!!

#NetSci2025 main conference Day 2
Make sure to come to my great collaborator Yu Tian's talk at 16:30 this afternoon! You will witness the moment when a brand-new network model framework is being born.

Hello world!

It has been a very difficult time for me and my family over the past half a year (when I am on leave for ill close relatives).
I am happy to share that I am now back to work!

And I am attending NetSci this week in Maastricht! Look forward to seeing many of you there!

Hi NetPals, on 7th Mar 4pm UK time, Gonzalo from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos with share his research about spectral centrality measure on hypergraphs. We will also discuss the present and future of peer review in interdisciplinary research. More details www.netplace.site

Very happy to present our work and CoCo 😎!!

Fresh on the arxiv, our work on the use of temporal motifs for studying cryptocurrency transaction networks! We highlight the importance of disaggregating graph-wide motif counts by (i) the nodes that participate and (ii) the time they occur. arxiv.org/abs/2402.09272

Time to advertise my talk (and my new profile 😎)!
Let’s discuss signed networks / negative connections, and (many*n) challenges in academia!!
Hi NetFollowers, hope you enjoyed the great discussion on
NetSciX 2024!
This week let us meet again on our NetPLACE seminar! @yutian.bsky.social from NORDITA will tell us about signed network and we will discuss how to survive challenges in academia.

We are extending the abstract submission deadline to Jan 22nd. That's ten extra days!

Our resolution for 2024 is to best serve the network science community. And that starts with making sure everyone can submit their projects in their best possible state.

Same here!

Really looking forward to catching up with you in the future! 🙌

My short visit of Vermont Complex Systems Center 🐙
Very much enjoyed my time there: discussing many interesting ideas!! 😇

Special thanks to @jgyou.bsky.social and also @nwlandry.bsky.social, who helped me a lot figure out my trip, even though it has to be much shorter due to external issues.
