Title: BREATHE IT OUT Your touch sends shivers down my spine. Frozen in time I look into your eyes. Snatched my soul like Ariel and her voice. I didn’t have a choice you siren song put me in a trance. I glance from within with cries of mourning. As apart of me died and I roamed this realm not even knowing. Lost in translation and I kept chasing thinking the road leads to you. I should’ve known that shit was too good to be true. Lord please send me a clue. I’ll do better by you. Just please let this pain subdue before the butler or maid comes for me too. At that point would I not be a shell of myself? Used as decoration of a memory that once was. Put on a shelf and shown like “appreciation” is what that gives; but that’s far from what that is. Please quiz me on how I know this. I can’t keep being ignorant to this bliss. I’ve taken the final exam too many times to know this. What did I do to deserve this? Am I doing myself a disservice? My palms are sweaty I’m nervous. My stomach’s doing circles like a circus. Damn it’s hard to work through this. I’m trying to be my truest form but it’s hard when you’ve been worn and torn like I have. But I’m glad that I’m still breathing; and living my life with meaning; after all I am a divine being. That I know for certain so it’s curtains for you. And all the Who’s like you who walk around mindlessly mad at a Grinch like me living my dream of my true authentic self. I’ve maxed out. I’m tired. Lemme light a fire to this joint. And just breathe it out.

I wouldn't say I have fallen out of love with drawing, or making art. in fact, I love it just as much if not more than years past ; but the inability to see that love through is frustrating. the obvious decrease in engagement and opportunities is frustrating. this year was one of burnout for so many

Is it you or your shell I see in front of me? Cries from the sea I hear under the moon. Think you can come from the clouds above and sweep and swoon me off my feet? Like we never skipped a heartbeat? Do you not see or peep the vibes and how I'm tired of the lack of push and pull from you? Your dark side always as mysterious as the moon and my raging fire with the strength to see you through. You knew deep down you saw what we could be and yet never yearned for more. But funny how you never stopped having those thoughts of me in your bed under your Egyptian cotton sheets. You told me I saw heaven through your tears and it's your fears of true intimacy that cause our inconsistencies to occur. What is it that you prefer, or do you seek something in return? You watched me as I burned my heart for you, and you emerged from my pains glistening like sun rays. I prayed for change from you and now christened by my sweet lust you have seen through the eyes of a fallen angel.
