So it begins, my least favourite time of the year in Berlin. Hearing fireworks explosions nonstop all afternoon since it’s dark and “anticipating” the chaos that will happen tomorrow. Everything I’ve been told about Germans loving order and quiet was a lie 🙈

My body finally gave up and I fell asleep. Woke up again - the attack is still ongoing. 8 hours now? Explosions again, electricity is out, and now the heating is gone too.
What hurts the most is that the world seems perfectly fine with this being done to us for all these years.

I’m from Kyiv and Fastiv is quite close. Many friends commuted from Fastiv to Kyiv daily to go to uni. I went to Fastiv to visit too. I’ve seen this station many times. You pass through it going West from Kyiv.

Russia shelled western regions of Ukraine this night. Ternopil was under the attack mostly — 9 people died, dozens were injured
Power infrastructure was damaged in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk was under Shahed drones attack with cluster munitions, so more people may get injured in after mass of attack
