I don't own a car and never have, but the Lamborghini Countach mod for Cyberpunk awakens the little boy/teenager in me. I always preferred them to Porsches, and if the game can have a 911, it can have a Countach.

That's why translation is something I studied at Masters level. It's way more complicated than most people think. So many decisions to be made. Eg. What do you do with a double-entendre that doesn't work in the other language? Do you translate one meaning? Do you create an entirely different joke?

Well, that's Horizon Zero Dawn done. While I prefer a customisable protagonist, I enjoyed playing as Aloy, and I enjoyed this particular twist on a post-apocalyptic setting. The lore is interesting and the open world is beautiful. I'll definitely get Forbidden West next time it's on sale.

Holy mother of dystopian hell. I listen to podcasts with automatic ads, and (living in Mexico as I do) I just got an "ad" from the US government warning me (in Spanish) not to enter the country illegally because the Trump administration is protecting its border with troops. Jesus.

I got a cycling cup that's not by @snyderceramics.bsky.social ! My wife's friend works for Monex and she gave me this lovely little Ar Monex (Isaac del Toro's old team that gives opportunities to young Mexican riders) cup. Don't worry, Stacy, I still use my Giro 2024 mug every day!
