To those joining from outside our troubled neighbourhood: there are no good choices in Syria. Assad's fall has the benefit of sticking it to Putin, but the replacement is Al Qaeda and ISIS, not liberal democracy. Bear that in mind.

Talking with the other side again, Friday. Managed to agree that a change is needed in the judiciary, and from there discussed what change. Certainly not what was proposed. Disagreed about whether rhe AG oversteps.
