I've heard my hero John Sandford has received the Grand Master Award from the Edgar Allen Poe society. Well deserved. I'm still enjoying his books and because I'm old school I prefer actual books so I can pass them around my friends. We have a whale of a time chatting about them. Life is fine.

For those friends having nothing exciting in January..read John Sandford. I started at Book One of the Prey series and I was hooked. Technology may not have existed..but a rattling good yarn is enough. Highly recommend.

Update. I was dreading 2025 a week ago. Nothing has changed. I feel a mix of anxiety frustration and absolute fury. And the bad days are really bad. Can we please go back to 2024.
