I've restarted my billionth Baldur's Gate 2 playthrough. None of them have ever gotten past Chapter...3? This time I've installed a bunch of mods though, so surely this time! (Doubtful.)

I finally figured out how to set up a super basic RAM watch in Bizhawk. I've skimmed the TAS Videos guide multiple times, but it somehow never clicked until tonight. It's really not THAT hard, but it just wasn't computing.

I finally figured out how to set up a super basic RAM watch in Bizhawk. I've skimmed the TAS Videos guide multiple times, but it somehow never clicked until tonight. It's really not THAT hard, but it just wasn't computing.

I commissioned a new profile picture from a local artist, and I'm very pleased with the result. :)

I finished another project last night: Thracia 776 pacifist SSS rank. No kills, bare minimum of six captured enemies, all characters alive/recruited, and under 179 turns.
I wasn't sure it was possible at first, but after Chapter 11x, I knew I was on track. Glad this project is done. It was tough.

SRW Y first impression update (2 hours): Mixed bag. Maps look much better, and they seemingly fixed the black screens of doom. It still feels like SRW 30-2 so far though, and they butchered the controls. I'm fighting YEARS of muscle memory here.

I very rarely take days off from work, but I decided to take one to get some time in on SRW Y on release day. Little did I realize that the game doesn't even unlock on Steam until after I would've gotten home from work anyway. 🤡

Just finished routing SRW Alpha 3 NG+ good ending in time for my birthday on Saturday. 👍
Might be a good excuse to stream, but bad ending was 8.5 hours long. I've made some optimizations, but good ending is a few maps longer. We'll see.

Given recent news, I feel compelled to finally share the mini H-game review list I made. Who knows? Maybe someone will find a cool game to play that they didn't consider because of the stigma.

Unlike (seemingly) a lot of people, my YouTube comments are honestly not bad at all. In fact, a fair amount of them are positive. I'm always kind of amused by this fact when I hear complaints.

I've long had this unhealthy fixation with finishing what I start, and it's backfiring. I've hate-watched three seasons of Castlevania at this point. It isn't getting better.
The good news is that as long as I don't pay for another month, the decision to drop it will be made for me! I'll be free!

For some reason, I decided to beat my head against a wall and re-route Kessen III. ~70 hours later, I think I have a good rough draft. Previous PB is 2:23 segmented, so RTA is new to me.
This is absolutely one of those games that is fun to play, but miserable to speedrun. Should be...interesting.

Just watched Godzilla Minus One. It was good. A few complaints, sure, but this is the first Godzilla movie I actually liked since 2014. Interesting to see a different reason for his existence than the usual "planet protector" angle.

Plugged in my old PC from two cycles back, and it surprisingly still works. Definitely some interesting things still on it. Old pictures of myself from at least 11 years ago (I had hair!), some post-marathon shots from Mike's basement, and...duck photos? I'm very confused where those came from.

Parents dropped off some antique dishware yesterday out of the blue. Got curious just how old the stuff is, so I looked it up and this stuff is apparently from 1938?

Is there a way to completely remove all instances of a category from Twitch recommendations?
I've tried hiding on the category page, a billion individual streams, and through FFZ, but nothing works. I still get recommended an endless wave of trash. "Just Chatting" is like a zombie I can't kill. :(
