🚨 🔭 🌎💥⭐️ Tiger Lu, David Hernandez, and I have a new paper on the arXiv! It's about TRACE, a new time-reversible hybrid integrator. It performs much better than traditional symplectic hybrid integrators like MERCURY or MERCURIUS.

🔭 Big SAGA (Satellites Around Galactic Analogs) DR3 paper day! III: arxiv.org/abs/2404.14498, IV: arxiv.org/abs/2404.14499, V: arxiv.org/abs/2404.14500 . Too much to summarize here, but upshot: we have 101 MW analogs and 378 satellites around them with completeness understood, and tons of science!

It's SAGA paper day! Mao+ (Paper III) presents the main survey results, Geha+ (Paper IV) investigates the star formation properties of satellites, and Wang+ (Paper V) presents modeling results and explores the galaxy-halo connection!
