"...we don't live in Chairman Mamdani’s Titoist cycling utopia just yet. Ppl who voluntarily drive in New York City are often NYPost-addled reactionaries who treat driving like the movie Death Race 2K + face no consequences for it bc killing a cyclist is functionally legal if you say 'I’m sowwyyy.'"
It took me months, about 495 rides, recovering from a shattered right foot and hacking a folding scooter, but I finally own a Nintendo Switch 2 using points obtained from Citi Bike. Afterwards, it left me questioning the very nature of work. For @aftermath.site.

Jon gets the last laugh today, as all the Murdoch newspapers he drew cartoons for had to post his obituary asking people to donate to the Bob Brown Foundation πŸ’š
Our state lost an icon yesterday. Jon Kudelka was a cutting political cartoonist, talented illustrator, and a unique personality. He loved lutruwita/Tasmania, and he never hesitated to stand up for our environment and people on topics big or small.

Rest in Peace, legend ✍️

Get to call myself an Inventor though, so that's neat.

No joke! I made something during an internship once that the company patented. I had to meet the lawyer to explain it. Never have I been in such an expensive office or building, and yet he spent a bunch of time making smug remarks about how easy his job is.

I was offered $10. Never paid.

DGTO is keeping Australia's lights on for medium to large businesses.

With it entering review following the revive policy concluding, it's important the local industry really makes it loud and clear how massive an accelerant it is for our country's industry.

We always hear cardiovascular disease is a top killer worldwide. In our lifetime, significant progress was made to address lifestyle/healthcare barriers and bring rates down. But then COVID happens, and we're back on the rise; especially among young people.

We've never needed heart research more ❀️
From now until the 17th, every penny I get from Speed Dating for Ghosts on Steam goes directly to the dang @americanheart.bsky.social as part of their rad @wholesomegames.com collab. Lots of great games here. <33333 Give that punk who ghosted you some ghosts! store.steampowered.com/curator/4590...

It's a good sign that it's so easy and automatic that they had to write a whole section of their website for if someone was automatically made a citizen by this and _doesn't want to be_.

(SPOILERS: game story)

I do appreciate a game that has so little subtlety that the main creep character literally has an anus for a face.

I'm glad people like the idea. It was pitched as a "microgame" with like a 2-month deadline so we did a heck of a lotta late nights designing maps/systems/everything for games which would never exist! But it's a real fun part of gaming history, I think.
