Got polled by Gotham Polling/AARP about the NYC mayoral race. I've been looking at polling data for a very long time but I cannot recall any modern poll of American voters that split off Jewish into its own Ethnicity.

I love that there’s a baseball player named Lenyn Sosa. It’s like if you trained an algorithm on Vladimir Guerrero and Sammy Sosa and asked it to generate fake baseball player names.

Did a rewatch of A New Hope and realized that C3PO's obsequiousness and breadth of knowledge makes him a precursor to ChatGPT et al and well...gotta hand it to them.

The presidential electorate has swung against the incumbent party (cycle over cycle) in every presidential election this century except 2004. Anti incumbency is the only consistent trend.

A lot of defenses of GLP-1s seem to center around willpower. But 7 months into taking one (successfully), I think for me it was never about willpower. It was just about thoughtless compulsion. There was never a struggle “don’t overeat!”, I would simply eat without thinking about it. And now I don’t.

Not enough people appreciate the hilarity that Wyoming passed a constitutional amendment in 2012 because of fear of Obamacare death panels (freedom to make your own health care decisions). Those death panels never materialized, but now the amendment is being used to protect abortion rights.
