I've never seen parsnips sold in any supermarket in Japan. It was common in Ireland and I remember it tasted like exactly 50:50 in between carrots and turnips.

Balatro definitely is my favorite game these days and its music (it has only one track) is a latest addition to my favorite tunes with 7/4 time signature.

Since every anime I watched recently (Apocalypse Hotel, Zatsu Tabi, Takopi's Original Sin) has Yoshiaki Fujisawa as music composer I’m rewatching Revue Starlight, the masterpiece and one of his greatest works.

Watched Snarky Puppy's show on the last Wednesday and Bill Laurance & Michael League's show on the last Friday. Unfortunately wasn't able to see Bill's solo show on the Sunday. Anyway they are beyond amazing.

Hiroyuki Oshima’s concert 9 days ago was excellent without a doubt. Since then I’ve been listening his conceptual masterpiece ”epitaph” repeatedly. Its theme is like ”memories of the city where all humanity’s gone” and very well articulated by its 8 tracks.

Since it's too embarrassing to invest in the current USA, I stopped investing in the S&P 500 index fund and switched to another index fund that excludes the USA from this month on.

Rice prices in Japan is rapidly rising. Today I bought 2kg for 2,000 yen, which is almost the same price per unit weight as sushi rice I bought in Tesco when I was based in Dublin.
