Heard a couple anecdotes of PayPal & Mastercard trying to get people to pivot to email late yesterday morning. It's a possibility they're not really set up to field a large volume of call complaints like they are with emails.

I got through to Mastercard and the supervisor I spoke to said they're actually aware of this, they've received multiple calls and it's been escalated to their global HQ and they're awaiting a response. KEEP CALLING!!

They told me they're getting a lot of complaints about this when I called, tried to push me to do an e-mail. Politely told them I would prefer to leave my complaint by phone and they took it. Easy. If you're calling Visa, hit 0 and lead by saying you'd like to file a complaint.

email them if you want, sure, but the fact that they are requesting people to *email them instead* (presumably because emails are much easier to ignore) means that the calls are WORKING, i.e. becoming a massive nuisance and interrupting workflow.

see the ideal strategy is to depress the tongue with the thumb in the middle 2 form a pool of spit so u can put out the cigarette in that instead of the tongue directly but another alternative is to have a drink before hand to achieve the same effect. either way a layer of moisture is very important
