Like I've heard a LOT of AAVE both in middle to high school and online in my life. I know slang almost exclusively to the bay area (Yadadimean, Hyphy, etc.) from going to schools where the majority of people were POC.
I can't recall hearing the term "crash out' IRL a singular time.

I think trauma has taught me to be a little kinder to the people who aren't completely beyond the pale morally.
Trauma sucks because your brain starts using outdated coping mechanisms of fear, dissociation, derealization, and panic that end up being several times worse than the actual root event.
