Running across central Scotland from Edinburgh to Glasgow, the route travels along the towpath of the Union Canal, a wonderful wildlife corridor. Along the way, you’ll pass interesting sights on the canal such as the Falkirk Wheel, a rotating boat lift. πŸ‘€

We had almost 5,000 pupils from more than 30 schools getting active on their way to school πŸšΆπŸ‘¨β€πŸ¦½πŸš΄β€β™€οΈπŸ›΄

They clocked enough miles to reach Lapland over 20 times! πŸ‘

Meet Zeeshan, a Primary 7 pupil in West Lothian we’ve reached through our I Bike Schools programme.

Zeeshan has a physical disability and dyspraxia, which have always stopped him from #cycling – until now.

We are saddened to hear of the collapse of the Garmouth Viaduct over the weekend, a key link on #NationalCycleNetwork Route 1.

Moray Council have advised the bridge will remain closed until further notice, and we urge the public not to approach the area for their own safety ⚠️
