Does anyone in the general #BTV area know who the people/person is who coordinates daily trips to the airport to see if there are people being deported and helping them have legal help, etc.?

Oh, the Muse. Lovely thing that she is, she's also fickle. Very, very fickle. Brilliant when she joins you in the writing process. Otherwise, she's absent, not to be found. Alas.

A writing coach is real. Now, how lovely is that?

The best advice I ever ignored: You can't make money in the writing and publishing world.

I chose to get a science degree, and then spent the last 30+ years writing, publishing content, a book, and editing. And making a living . . . .

What’s yours?

There are two types of writers: Pantsers and Plotters.

Which one are you?

Feel free to DM me if you cared for your partner while they struggled through a medical issue, your grief starting before they died from their disease. #anticipatorygrief #death #dying

What is your experience with anticipatory grief? #grief #anticipatorygrief #deathanddying

We were together 42 years, my husband and I. Literally a lifetime. And then poof! It was over. Death has a suddenness to it even if you are expecting it. When it does, you compare reality to the imaginings you've had about it for years. #deathanddying #grief

One of my clients decided to write a book proposal. I gave her a copy of my proposal template, and she answered each and every one of the sections within 24 hours. Guess why that is both surprising and disappointing.

Caregiving is super hard. You love the person who's sick, but who's looking after you? #grief #anticipatorygrief

Anticipatory grief is exactly what it sounds like--you are anticipating the death of a loved one. In some ways, it's easier than sudden death, but you may have spent years waiting for your loved one to die. And that is hard. It's grief of a different type. #deathanddying #anticipatorygrief

Do you write content much? Package it into an eBook and use it as a lead magnet; expand it into a print book. Use the content topics as speaking topics; start a podcast with the material. Let's discuss how to maximize your use of evergreen content. #content #writing #platformbuilding

Writing a book takes you from unknown and unseen to being read, followed, and admired. It also builds your personal brand, company, and network of colleagues. Books are magical this way; write a book. DM to learn how. #author #nonfiction #books

Guess what? If you are trying to decide to independently publish or traditionally publish your book, know there are trade-offs either way. Also, you're going to have to market your book either way, too, so start planning that now. Thoughts? #publishing #author #bookwriting

ADHD got you confused? What meds to take, or not. How to get work done. More executive function, please, and less resistance. So confusing. Guess what, scientists are confused, too. ADHD is not easily categorized or treated.
