I attended an awesome animation writing workshop yesterday and learned a lot. It's on a continuing basis. With everything going on here in the US and Hollywood, I've decided to reach out internationally.

Seeing the Nazis in Columbus, Ohio the other night made me think of my great grandmother and great grandfather. She was Jewish and he was studying to become a Catholic Priest in Germany during Hitler's time. They married and came to America to start over even changing our family's last name.

I lived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia back in 1982 through the Bechtel Corporation since my ex-husband was involved in the building the new King Khalid International Airport there. I'm writing a screenplay and stage play about my experience living there and especially how hard it was for women.

I became inspired to get into acting and writing through my great uncle Robert F. McGowan who was the original director of the "Our Gang Comedies" and "Little Rascals" movies at Hal Roach Studios back in the 1930's.
