like, I'm certain that there will be a lot of unsatisfying dangling threads when he gets kicked off the book, but if "unresolved plot threads" were a core quality of his writing style, I just think it would be really odd for me not to have noticed that after reading the vast majority of his output?
in any case, from my current vantage point this piece of received wisdom about the claremont run just doesn't ring true based on what I've read, but I'm open to counterarguments

am I just not noticing these things in the first place, is it something I won't notice until claremont is gone and subsequent writers don't finish off plot threads he might have otherwise resolved, or is this just a piece of lore spread by word of mouth? Would love opinions/examples on this

I frequently hear people say that claremont introduces plot threads that he never picks back up, but having read his entire run up to 1989 so far, I can't think of a single example of that off the top of my head

a week ago a place said they wanted to interview me, I got back to them in under an hour enthusiastically agreeing to the interview and listing availability as they requested, haven't heard back since then despite following up multiple times. and this is still unfortunately my best lead right now.
