Today, we commemorate the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz and the victims of the Shoah, together with the Roma and Sinti, Queer, disabled, and political victims of the Nazi genocide.

We also commemorate the victims and survivors of historic and ongoing genocides everywhere.

Badenoch saying it was a mistake not to have a growth plan for Brexit highlights that she doesn't understand what happened.

There was no growth plan that all parts of the Leave coalition could have agreed on.

Winning required implying different outcomes to different people.

Human Rights Watch joins with nearly 90 other organizations in a letter opposing US sanctions against the International Criminal Court.

It would be a terrible irony if a tool designed to penalize violators of human rights could instead contribute to their impunity.
NGO Letter to Congress and the Incoming Presidential Administration Regarding US Sanctions on the ICC
The undersigned organizations write to express grave concerns and to unequivocally oppose the use of the sanctions authority of the United States to attack the International Criminal Court (ICC).

This is very good - and very sobering.

7 global trends likely to worsen humanitarian needs in 2025

1. Debt
2. Conflict
3. Fracturing global order

Oh my god, Syria ❤️

Thinking so much of Syrian friends, colleagues, strangers, and all those who stayed outraged at Assad’s violences. Now is the time for the international community to finally listen hard to what is needed.

I can’t believe he’s finally gone.

A damning report.

The Israeli government has been unapologetic in its intent to destroy and displace the Palestinian people.

The UK Government must now make a fundamental shift that centres the protection of civilians and prevention of further atrocities.
