This is quite concerning ….
I was denied permission to host a roundtable at the Puget Sound VA to hear from women veterans about their health care.

I have NEVER been outright denied from having open & honest conversations with VA—until this administration.

I'm demanding an answer from VA Secretary, Doug Collins.

Pioneering Black Air Force general asks: 'What country am I in?'
Lloyd "Fig" Newton was just the seventh African American to become a four-star general. He says Trump is trying to whitewash history by purging DEI.

WATCH: One Air Force basic training video on the Tuskegee Airmen is still shelved at JBSA-Lackland. Why? It lauds 'diversity.' We compare and contrast the videos, but see them for yourself. This story is gifted. www.expressnews.com/news/article...

The Air Force film depicts the World War II Black aviators as proof that diversity strengthens the military. It's been pulled from a basic training course.

We're still dealing with the old crap regarding women writing about WWII. I keep reading that my friends are receiving hostile, sexist and angry comments.

It's pathetic. Women writers are tackling new subjects with aplomb and revisiting old subjects with fresh ideas.

The USAF has reversed itself "after uproar." We must continue to pay attention. We must continue to preserve & share the stories of the Tuskegee Airmen & the Women Airforce Service Pilots. I promised them I would always tell their stories. You can too. Knowledge is power! www.msn.com/en-us/news/u...

AF removes videos on the WASP and Tuskegee Airmen from basic training curriculum.
President Donald Trump’s assault on federal diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives has claimed a new victim — the Tuskegee Airmen.

The effects were felt almost immediately at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, the hub of Air Force basic training. bit.ly/4glTsWQ

The early 60s were a hotbed of record-setting by the US military. For example, on Jan 14, 1961, a B-58 crew from Carswell AFB, TX set a record of 1,284.73 mph over a 1,000-kilometer course.

Why? It was during the Cold War, and the records sent a message to the Soviet Union.
