Medical Laboratory Scientist, blood banker, chronic dog mom, crocheter, knitting machine hopeful and artist enabler.
Got my husband an absolutely unhinged gift this year. No idea if he will like it but I got him garnets cut from failed Soviet era laser rods.

It’s Fox and Friends here except it’s an actual fox sitting in the middle of the road taunting my dog in our fenced in yard.

I watched Wicked for Good today and it was good but I came to the conclusion that I can’t do movie theaters anymore. I now get migraines from light sensitivity and have to go lie down for an hour after a movie.

My aunt is an avid agility dog enthusiast and she recently took in a little papillon from another enthusiast who passed from cancer and every time the dog does well she tags his old owner on Facebook about how well he did. I’m not crying, you’re crying.

What I appreciate about the Grammys is no one is throwing a fit that a song from a Netflix movie is in the running to win a few awards. Art is art and it shouldn’t matter where we first experienced it. Looking at you Oscars, let’s not punish artist bc Netflix is the one who believed in them.

My elderly coworker was saying something along the lines of “America wasn’t like this when I came over” (immigrated from the Philippines) in reference to racism and me and my other coworker were like “what? Wasn’t MLK still alive when you came?” Yes, yes he was.

I need someone to walk into the White House and in front of Trump point at the hideous gold medallions and say. “Hey! I have those same medallions, I got them from Home Depot!” All innocent like someone noticing they the same shoes as a friend.

Man, I knew Fetterman was one of the 8. Can we bet on politicians yet? It would be nice to make a buck or two off of their crappy decisions if they are only going to use my taxes to help rich people.

Well.. at least none of my senators stabbed me in the back.

Hogan just proved why I can’t trust him. He spoke out about Wes Moore possibly redistricting MD bc other republican states trying to gerrymander more seats. Yet Hogan has said nothing on Texas doing this. To me this indicates he’ll fall along the party lines, party lines don’t care about the states.

Look if I had the power to rehaul the American education system. I would make it so kids had to learn the difference between a socialist and a communist and they can’t get their degrees unless they can get it right. Because god communist has become a crutch for not using critical thinking.

Man I would be embarrassed if I was theoretically a democratic candidate and Trump endorsed me instead of the republican candidate.

I went to a cat cafe and everyone would stop and whatever they were doing and say “aaawe big stretch” whenever a cat would stretch.

Got jumped scared in the Christmas section of lowes by Jack Skeleton. Didn’t see him in between 2 Christmas trees until he started moving.

I honestly can’t give a damn about the west wing. More offended that this is happening when republicans don’t even want to invest in Americans. God forbid we spend money and help Americans get healthcare, but sure the president can build an extremely expensive ballroom.

The hideous cow stair runner is going! My friend says she never noticed it and it’s doesn’t look like a cow but she did agree it was not my aesthetic. But I think this cow makes my point.

Made a frame for the tv in our bedroom and I have no regrets.

I got my doctor to prescribe me the otc allergy meds I use daily so my insurance would pay for it bc xyzal is not the cheapest option but it’s the only otc that works for me. (Also helps me sleep)

In honor of Jane Goodall here are some amazing photos from her youth.

Oh my god it’s gotten so bad my 98 year old ww2 and Korean War vet grandfather posted for the first time in decades on Facebook to diss trump.

Every time Jax gets near Nico with the cone of shame she barks at him to go away. She hates it as much as he does. He keeps accidentally hitting her.

Operation bird net worked. I was able to remove 2 Home Depot buckets worth of ginkgo tree fruit from the yard in about 30 minutes. So hopefully my yard won’t stink this fall.

Man that benign tumor on Jax’s eyelid must have really bothering him bc he seems far more comfortable with his eyelid with stitches and in them. He’s only tried to scratch his eye once since the procedure which is far less than before the procedure.

I think blaming the most beloved over the counter pain medication for autism is going the back fire. Tylenol is such the backbone of pain management the FDA made a loop hole for otc use bc it wouldn’t pass today’s otc standards but knew they wouldn’t survive the riot if they removed it from shelves.

The vet was incredibly nice and threw in a bonus, removed Jax’s giant gross skin tag when they went in to remove his benign tumor under his eyelid. He’s doing well but is high as a kite.
