When safety training isn’t available in your language, it puts everyone at risk. Workers who use sign language often face communication barriers on the job, especially in fast, moving, or hazardous environments.
Everyone deserves a safe place to work, and to be heard.

Know Your Rights: Temp Workers Edition
📌 Temporary workers have the right to:
✅ Be free from discrimination — from both the employment agency and the host employer.
✅ Receive the same safety training as permanent employees doing similar work.
✅ Be paid at least the minimum wage — no exceptions.

On September 3, 1991, a fire broke out at the Imperial Food Products chicken processing plant in Hamlet, North Carolina. The blaze was caused by a leaking hydraulic line that sprayed flammable fluid near a fryer, igniting a fast-moving fire.

For the 2nd week in a row, multiple workers are killed in a confined space. 3 workers were killed in a manhole in Trinity, Texas Wed.

This comes a week after 6 dairy workers were killed in a manure pit in Col.

Almost all of the dead in both incidents were rescuers
