my father trying to tell me that utah is pretty "fiscally responsible." wtf dies that mean? the state is frugal?
I think it means you don't see the vast majority of your tax money come back to benefit you in any meaningful way. (and utah's tax burden rating isn't great. about the same as illinois.)

I dug up the food storage my family got for Christmas in 2008 (2010?) but never ate, and now I'm going to eat it and write poetry about it. (I asked my dad if I could eat it on Christmas but he said I couldn't because it was food storage, but now it's like 15+ years old.)
