I'm sad to say two people were shot in Portland by 🧊 yesterday. And according to Indian Country Today, they are arresting and harassing Native people and lying about being assaulted despite numerous eyewitness accounts to the contrary.

The region I live in is witchy enough that a local realtor sends out a moon calendar with graphics of edible plants as a 2026 card. And as a plant person, I want to add, be careful. There are many lookalikes for these plants that are poisonous. #WitchSky #Witchcraft

This is also a good moment to listen to what black people have to say about using the phrase "say her name" for Renee. It doesn't diminish the horror of Renee's death to acknowledge that this kind of behavior by police is a common occurrence if you are black or brown. #WitchSky

The United States has a long history of only prioritizing certain lives. Yesterday's murder of a woman in Minneapolis by ICE is so sad and enraging. Let's do what we can to end this era of brutality with our #Witchcraft and our actions. #Witchsky

I have done a lot better with January once I figured out that I need to allow myself as many moments of quiet as the crazy pace of our culture will allow. Not everyone can, but what about you? Are you able to take some moments to reflect and be with yourself? #WitchSky #Witchcraft

Well, it looks like my ancestors enjoyed their New Year's offerings. My family was pretty low key. Cheese and crackers with soda. I set out rum for my brother, because that was his drink of choice. I hope everyone's 2026 started well. #WitchSky

It was clear enough to see a few stars & Jupiter this morning. A good way to end the year. I have to work and then I can start my NYE customs. Clearing, cleaning, recording mileage and blessing my car. I'll have a quiet night and make offerings to my ancestors. What do you do? #Witchcraft

I put up a winter altar this year on the table that is my magical working space. I usually just have a few seasonal things to enhance whatever spells I'm doing, but this year I wanted to call in the older ancestors who remember when magic and land connection was the norm. #WitchSky
