My life is a short history of a long road.
🧵And do y'all smell it? #MorningJoe still running cover for Trump's redemption tour. Joey couldn't resist dropping the final salvo on the #EpsteinFiles before cutting to commercial: "Biden's DOJ had all info, so why not release it?" knowing full well, as a lawyer, it couldn't be released with..1/⬇️

You know the old setup,
"Hey, a pedophile and a murderer of an American journalist walk into a room…"
Sounds like the start of a bad bar joke, right? Except this one isn't funny, it's the punchline our media keeps rehearsing for Trump's redemption tour.

Is it just me, or does anyone else side‑eye a charcuterie board? Feels downright unsanitary, I don’t know where those hands have been. Back in my day, we called it Nana’s fruit‑and‑veggie tray: maybe a few cubes of cheese, maybe some sliced mystery meat.

Trump's choice to wear that hat at the West Point Commencement wasn't just a fashion statement, it was a deliberate signal. It wasn't about buffoonery; it was about reinforcing allegiance. He was telling the **military**: "This is your identity now. You're MAGA".

The midterms won’t save us. Undoing the Trump era will take at least a decade, and MAGA is entrenched across the government. Doubt it? One name: Roger Stone - his imprint remains.
It needs to be drummed out until our ears bleed. Thank you, Chris Murphy.
Murphy: "There's no guarantee that we are gonna have a free and fair election in 2026. He's trying to rig our democracy, to destroy dissent, to cripple the opposition, so that even if his approval ratings are in the 30s next year, there isn't the ability for his opposition to muster a real campaign"

Deploying National Guard troops for **civilian enforcement** - like immigration raids - fits the pattern of **militarizing domestic policy**.

If approved, the move would be the first time Guard troops at the national level have been asked to assist in the removal of migrants in the U.S. without legal status.

People are overlooking the ongoing costs of maintaining that plane both during his presidency and long after, when it’s supposedly stored in his library. It’ll never actually be there; it’ll remain parked and flight-ready at any airport.
Duckworth: "He's accepting a bribe, which is unconstitutional and illegal. And he's gonna accept an aircraft that then is gonna cost taxpayers another billion dollars at a time when he wants to cut funding for Medicaid. It's simple unacceptable."

DeLAURO: Are you planning to break the law by impounding appropriated funds?

RFK Jr: If you appropriate the funds, I'm going to spend them

D: We have! You're cutting the NIH by $18b. Congress appropriated those funds. How can you justify cutting billions from the biomedical research budget?
