Glaciologist Dr Heidi Sevestre & explorer Matthieu Tordeur recently completed the “Under Antarctica” expedition, the first-ever French crossing of the Antarctic interior by kite-ski & the first kite-ski expedition dedicated entirely to polar science.

25 years ago, Liv Arnesen & Ann Bancroft became the first women to cross the Antarctic continent.

Their journey shattered assumptions about who belongs in extreme exploration & continues to inspire women in polar careers worldwide.
