Jamileh Javidpour
Dr. Jamileh Javidpour is an Associate Professor of Marine Ecology at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), where she leads research at the intersection of plankton ecology, ecosystem resilience, and blue biotechnology. Originally trained as biological oceanographer, she has developed an internationally recognized career exploring how gelatinous zooplankton shape marine food webs across coastal, oceanic, and polar ecosystems. Her research integrates ecological theory, molecular tools, observational oceanography, and innovation, often connecting science to industry through applied biotechnology and sustainable ocean solutions.
