Our boy Huckleberry Blue was the perfect pre-election model for my bestie's photography shoot. He's such a handsome guy. He's part Treeing Walker Coonhound and Great Pyrenees and weighs about 95 lbs.

I'm going to the Kansas state capital tomorrow and would like to make a political statement with my outfit. I was going with black and green as I don't have much blue. My favorite color red has been ruined for me. What colors give a clear signal that I'm not one of "them".

I try to walk this trail behind my job every day. I usually stand, awestruck, at nature's ability to be beautiful no matter the season.
Or I just silently scream in frustration.
