Even pre-BBB, we were seeing this in suburban/rural America with the consolidation of corpo care providers (example: my daughter was born 6 years ago in a small-city indie hospital which is now owned by HCA, who closed both the OB/GYN unit and the NICU there). Things have only gotten worse since.
People living in rural communities - red & blue alike - rely on local care options for survival. These closures foreshadow much broader loss.

Even pre-BBB, we were seeing this in suburban/rural America with the consolidation of corpo care providers (example: my daughter was born 6 years ago in a small-city indie hospital which is now owned by HCA, who closed both the OB/GYN unit and the NICU there). Things have only gotten worse since.
Question: what mid-to-high-level corrupt official/mobster actually takes a freakin envelope and/or sack of money as a bribe in the '20s, let alone from an undercover cop?

With ABC freshly smelling of boot black, we decided to end our Disney+/Hulu sub. Only the 'Cancel' button in our account doesn't work. Or 'Pause'. 'Change Plan' also unresponsive. All other options? Workin just fine 🤔. Seems we're down to disputing CC charges now. Keep voting with your wallet, gang.

Last year, hardly any bees to be found in our garden, the fruit trees, or even in the field of wildflowers behind us. This year, you can't walk the property without disturbing a few. Might sound awful to some, but I'd argue it's awfully good to see them again.

I've been told I should post non-political stuff once in a while, so fine. We went to The Wildwoods late August, and as usual, it was wonderful to see family and take in The Shore a bit. Beach, boardwalk, birding, fishing, lots of great food and beer, plus the little one had a blast (as seen here).
