It Was Just An Accident

Sometimes I feel so fortunate to have gotten into gaming as a kid already in the early 90's, cause it means that I have gotten to experience so many "wow" moments with regards to seeing legendary games when they were brand new, and witnessing so many exciting technological advances in the industry.

Train Dreams

Not a horror flick this time from Ar Aster, but still a scathing dark comedy about all the misinformation and tension of the covid years. I loved it, particularly the slow buildup of the first half. The second half gets almost too crazy for me though.

Pleasently surprised, especially considering some of the lukewarm reviews. Character development and plot progression was the strongest of the series imo. Visually stunning obviously but I went in expecting that. Some action sequences were a bit unnecessarily long.

A good solid historical film, that unfortunately pales in comparison to the 2000 miniseries with Alec Baldwin. Good performances throughout but the pacing was severely mismanaged (way too much time spent leading up to trial, leaving us with too little time with the trial itself)

This is objectively true. However, this attitude is also what allows corporate centrist democrats like Schumer and Jeffries to survive (even thrive) as long as they do at the expense of the Democratic party and their constituents. "At least they're not as bad as the Republicans" is their lifeline.
The Dems are far from perfect, but the vast majority of them seem to have the best interests of their constituents at heart, and they deserve support in an imperfect system. This cannot be said of the scum in the Rep party.

Ok so I just started watching Gachiakuta and already the scene with the plunger in episode 3 is the hardest I have laughed in an anime in a looong time.

Ok so I just started watching Gachiakuta and already the scene with the plunger in episode 3 is the hardest I have laughed in an anime in a looong time.

Finished Lies of P: Overture. A fantastic DLC, almost rivaling Bloodborne's Old Hunters DLC. Cool new weapons and outfits, more interesting lore and mostly excellent boss fights. Got to give a shout out to the Anguished Guardian of the Ruins, a truly epic boss fight and my fave in the entire game.

Finished Lies of P: Overture. A fantastic DLC, almost rivaling Bloodborne's Old Hunters DLC. Cool new weapons and outfits, more interesting lore and mostly excellent boss fights. Got to give a shout out to the Anguished Guardian of the Ruins, a truly epic boss fight and my fave in the entire game.
