Absolutely agree. There's such a wide world of TTRPG experiences to have out there that the best thing a newcomer to tabletop RPGs can do for themselves is to experience what else is out there.
Yeah, most of the time that means 5E, but the it applies to people who came in via PbtA or anything else.

Been reading through the play-test rules for Hexingtide, and I've got to say, its probably the most fun I've had reading through a #TTRPG all year.
