Just an idea: can’t America (or the world) just name the guy who basically won the capitalism game and became the first trillionaire ever president for life and let him decide whatever he wants? He does that anyway. Just cut out the unnecessary middle men; the politicians.

To all those sycophants who post stuff like ‘Pray for Jamaica’… what does that accomplish? Didn’t God send that hurricane? Doesn’t he have the power to stop it? Yet he apparently chooses not to. Such a deity does not deserve worship.

Hasn’t Bluesky become a depressing place… the endless barrage of terrible news from the USA… the utter feeling of powerlessness… and add to that a huge political mess in my own country where fascists, like in America, fuck everything up for everyone. It is really affecting me.

USA: 22.830 homicides in 2023, 6.8 per 100,000 (source: CDC) 10 times as high as in the Netherlands. SMH

Ik herken me heel erg in het verhaal van Chris Klomp. Talkshows staan zeker niet bekend om hun nuance, maar van Gelder spant echt de kroon. Van Gelder denkt dat heel Nederland op zijn mening zit te wachten. Het probleem is dat Van Gelder niet geremd wordt door enige feitenkennis.
