Fieldwork isn’t for the faint of heart, but it sure makes for great stories! Whether you’ve come face-to-face with a bear en route to a warbler nest, been bested by decoys, or triggered a guano avalanche inside a bat roost, we know you have a story to tell. #EcoOopsies

We're having a blast at #IBRC2025!

Thanks to everyone who has visited our booth so far! It has been wonderful getting to meet new faces and see some familiar ones; like 2017 grant winner Rohit Chakravarty, and Sheehari Raman who won the 2025 Q1 travel grant to present his poster at IBRC.

As the year progresses, it is getting harder and harder to spot our 🦇 monitoring stations 😂

The amount of bat recordings is also increasing at what seems like an exponential rate!
