What’s the big deal I do this at every PAX
putting aside that this post is a gross misrepresentation of how Octopath can and often does mature themes well without any of those things involved, i don't recall a time when JRPGs were ever just seen as "just for kids," if anything i remember them being regarded like anime as "weird and horny"

I'm a sucker for wizard archetypes so I knew I was making myself a scholar. Going through the character creator, I wasn't fond of the shade of brown available for hair, and as a joke since I wanted to get on with the demo I made it green... and ended up unironically loving it like 10 minutes later.

So much this, obviously we all want our physical games to actually be physical, but I can't think of a single PS4 disc I own that actually has the full game on it.
I hate game key cards, we all should, but there's a discussion to be had about how we've let every other company off the hook for years

I feel like Nintendo's biggest mistake with Game Key Cards wasn't making them in the first place, it was actually being transparent about it, otherwise I'm pretty sure almost nobody would be complaining. See also... every other relevant console I'm pretty sure.
