Opinion | Had an Aboriginal protester been accused of violence toward a mainstream civic crowd, the country would have erupted, @mrdtjames.bsky.social writes.

✅ Yes, a fundraising email from Trump's leadership PAC asked recipients to fill out a survey and included the line, "Are you a proud American Citizen or does ICE need to come and track you down?"

Did Trump email supporters asking if they were American citizens or if ICE needed to track them down?

So the alleged bomber is scared that his life is at risk? Boo-fucking-hoo! What about the lives he endangered and the fear he created?
At least the Perth Invasion Rally Bombing investigation has broadened to include the correct line of investigation.

We should be told why they are not releasing the bombers name. His life can’t be at risk if he is in custody.

Flower of the day #RoseWednesday
One of my favourite roses in my garden. Not in flower at the moment as we have had over 40 degree days and the bushes are fried

Fires heading towards my friend’s house and another friend’s horse (horse doesn’t live with that friend). Both at emergency warning level. Hoping they stay safe.

The situation is getting so bad that they might release the Epstein files to distract us from what ICE is doing.

Erm excuse me @albomp.bsky.social yesterday someone threw a bomb (albeit thankfully an ineffective one) into a crowd of indigenous and indigenous supporting people.

Are you planning on commenting or are terrorist tags only reserved for anti Israel protesters?

Australia is watching.

Alex Pretti was an American hero. He saved lives. He protected people. He cared deeply about his community, unlike the murderous thugs who killed him.

The very last thing he did was try to help a woman who had been pepper-sprayed and violently shoved to the ground by ICE. 1/

How many men were killed by coward punch attacks before new laws and curfews were bought in? I seem to recall it being two….
Australian women are murdered by partners or ex partners at a rate of more than one a week.

This isn’t treated as mass murder.

If it were treated as mass murder our government could possibly find a way to act.

This is a national emergency. These are all gendered hate crimes. We need a Royal Commission into Male Violence Against Women. How many more women must die at the hands of violent men before we see real action?
