I had to go buy a pair of cheapo office-only indoor sneakers because I knew if I waited until tomorrow it would be even worse but lads let me tell u it is FUUUUUUCKING cold outside, -30’ windchill is scary shit

The problem with not trusting buses is now it’s dark and 6:30am and I need to loiter for 30 minutes in an empty parking lot because I didn’t wanna risk the actual proper bus at the good time running late on me.

It’s not enough to just shake the tub of dental treats to summon the cat, I now have to walk into the kitchen, open the top sliding drawer and make snippy noises with the scissors. She’s developed standards after I reintroduced tube treats into the environment.

Every time I try to take a whack at learning how to build models in blender I always flounder within a day, I should probably just download a rig and learn the animation tools since that’s an area I already know :/

My one hope heading into 2026 is that by some miracle there’s a slight uptick in contracts for everybody. like for me I don’t even need them to be particularly good contracts, I just remembered I love my job actually and would like to keep doing it.
