Today I visited local Wilmot farms and sat down with members of WilmotCAN and Ontario Federation of Agriculture Director Mark Reusser, who are standing strong against the loss of Wilmot land and Bill 5’s threat to farmland and food security.

We have immediate solutions to gridlock like paying the tolls for truckers on the 407 that is far cheaper than building a highway that paves over 2,000 acres of farmland, 400 acres of the Greenbelt and will make flooding worse by compromising watersheds.
